Kangaroo Island Community Education

Kangaroo Island Community Education (KICE) is a multi-campus school which reflects Kangaroo Island's strong island community and history. Students come from all over the island by school bus to attend their local campus. Kangaroo Island is one of the world’s pristine natural environments where visitors are greeted by sea lions basking on unspoiled white beaches and koalas dozing in lofty eucalyptus trees. It is a place that offers protection to huge populations of native Australian animals, as well as being a place where people can pursue their creative, environmental and adventure interests. The school provides students with exciting opportunities to interact with scientists, artists and craftspeople across the island as well as participation in practical activities such as native fish surveys and tagging, pelican studies and dolphin monitoring.
