The Study Tour team at BPIHS were selected for the ‘Innovative Engagement with Business and the Community’ because of their outstanding commitment to international students and school communities in the Northern Adelaide region. The recognition comes as no surprise to South Australian Government Schools who commend the team on their success and dedication to our Study Tours program!
Profiling Banksia Park International High School
Banksia Park International High School (BPIHS) is located in the foothills of north-eastern Adelaide surrounded by beautiful national parks (if you are lucky you will see a koala in one of the native eucalypt trees on campus!). Specialising in services and programs for international students, BPIHS is a popular choice for many of our students.
Students can pursue the Global Citizens Medal Program, which has received a national Education Award of Excellence. This program is unique to BPIHS for all international and local students to gain recognition for their commitment and contribution to the local, wider and global communities. The Global Citizens Medal is presented at the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony.
The school is close to public transport, a shopping and cinema complex which includes local and international restaurants, and recreational facilities.
BPIHS host both short and long term international student programs as well as exciting Study Tours for high school students wishing to study abroad.
