Brighton Secondary School is a large secondary school located approximately 12 kilometres southwest of the city in an attractive coastal suburb of South Australia. The school provides a rich curriculum from Year 7-12 with a range of flexible pathways for students including strong academic opportunities, vocational opportunities and targeted learning support. Brighton Secondary School also provides a comprehensive and diverse range of extra-curricular activities for students, through clubs, activities and sporting opportunities, with graduates from the school going on the be a part of some of Australia’s best youth orchestra’s choirs, bands and the Australian Olympic Men’s and Women’s Volleyball team. The learning opportunities for students are diverse, and focus on developing successful learners, confident and creative individuals and active and informed citizens. The motto of Fac Omnia Bene, meaning Do All Things Well, drives the focus on developing young peoples’ skills, dispositions, knowledge and confidence to foster creative and curious individuals who can be successful in local and global contexts.
