Out and about in Adelaide

In early July we said farewell to our 100 high school students from Pernambuco, Brazil, as they set off for home after finishing their ‘Win the World’ Study Abroad Program. This program was sponsored by the Pernambuco state government to reward academic excellence.

For the last six months these students have lived in South Australia, either in Adelaide or in regional areas, going to school, making friends, learning English and experiencing the sights and sounds that our state has to offer.

Read about the ‘Win the World’ study abroad program and some stories written by the students  during the first part of their program.

In May, they all met up in Adelaide to explore the city centre, Cleland Wildlife Park in the Adelaide Hills, Mount Lofty to lookout over Adelaide city, beaches and suburbs and Hahndorf, an historic German township.
