My experience in South Australia was very unique. I grew up a lot and learnt so much. To live with people that I didn’t know before I came stressed me out a lot. But I met a lovely family that made me feel like part of their family really fast. We enjoyed sharing all about our personal culture and had long chats at dinner time. They always help me and give me some advice about everything. But the best moments we had were when we cooked dinner because everyone is in the kitchen helping. It’s at this moment that we have chats and many laughs. I have a little brother too and I really love him. He is 3 years old but brings so much to the family by animation. I’m so lucky to have them because I think without a good family base, we can’t enjoy really this kind of experience.
Something I enjoyed in my school is some interesting subjects that school in Switzerland doesn’t have. For example, before I came I didn’t know cooking and thanks to school lessons I now know how to make some different things. I also really like the subject Society and Culture because I learn some interesting things about life and culture in Australia.
