Cindy is from China and is currently studying at Unley High School. She chose to study at South Australian Government Schools because her cousin was already a student at the University of Adelaide, and she knew that having family abroad would help make her transition easier. When she first started at a South Australian Government School, Cindy barely spoke any English and was very shy. She was quickly welcomed with open arms by the new friends she made, which she treasures the most about her time so far in South Australia.
“Adelaide is a multicultural city, and it is a very good place for international students to study, and get to know more about Australian culture”
