Studying abroad in a South Australian government school will give you the experience of learning English and making friends with young Australian primary school students whilst living close to the city, hills or the beach. Your parent or guardian will be invited to participate in school and community activities where they will make friends and contacts to help with living in a new cultural environment.
Our Primary School Study Abroad Program allows you to study for 1, 2, 3 or a maximum of 4 terms (one year) in a South Australian government school. You can commence your studies at the beginning of any school term or join the mid term intake. If you wish to study for longer than one year you can enrol in the Primary School Program.
Primary school starts in Reception, for children who are 5 years of age, and finishes in Year 7, when children are 12 or 13 years of age. You can commence your studies at any point from Reception to Year 7.
If you are over 13 years of age you can enrol in the High School Study Abroad Program or High School Graduate Program.
Please contact us if you are interested in a program of less than one term.
