Children of International Tertiary Students

If you are an international tertiary student studying an award course in a South Australian university or tertiary education institution, you may choose to enrol your school-aged children in a South Australian government school as Dependants for the duration of your visa.

Your visa subclass and your tertiary student status will determine the category that your dependent children will be:

Visa subclass	What is your tertiary student status?	Category of Dependant
572, 573 or 574	Full fee-paying international student	Children of a full fee-paying international tertiary student
572, 573, 574 or 576	South Australian endorsed scholarship holder	Children of a South Australian government endorsed scholarship holder

If your visa subclass or citizenship is one of the following, your children cannot be enrolled as Dependants:

570	If you are an international tertiary student studying English on an ELICOS course only, your children need to be enrolled as full-fee paying international students.	Primary School Student High School Student
